Charente-Maritime Kite Festival
Châtelaillon-Plage, just south of La Rochelle celebrates its 24th Kite festival on the 15, 16 and 17th April. It’s a very special weekend with so much on offer. Kite making workshops, demonstrations, buggy kites, kite surfing, mountain boarding, land sailing and kite school for the newly converted in any of these activities. This Festival sees the start of the summer season arriving in Charente-Maritime and is huge fun for all ages. Bring a picnic, sit on the beach watching the colourful kites dancing in the sky or join in, whatever you choose to you will realise why you are looking for a house in Charente-Maritime.
