Ambrieres has a leisure park offering swimming, kayaking and many other activities, whilst Gorron has a swimming pool and a small cinema which shows English films at least once a month. Our French neighbours are a delight and alongside the very friendly and welcoming French community in this area, there is also a vibrant and supportive ex-pat community. It really is idyllic here in this part of France, you never have to worry about parking or traffic jams; the countryside is very beautiful and there are great walks, rivers, lakes, woods and stunning chateaux to explore.
