Artists Competition In The Chateau d’Amboise Home Of Leonardo de Vinci

Between July 2016 and until December 2019 the Chateau d’Amboise are running an international competition for all budding artists.

The chateau was the home of the patron of Leonardo de Vinci and when you visit you will be able to borrow an easel to take into the grounds and paint something inspired by, and in the manner of, Leonardo de Vinci. There is an award for the artist of the month, the season and the year so if you feel the creative urge go along and see what you can do.

And if you are not the artistic sort then we can still recommend the Chateau d’Amboise for a delightful and fascinating visit and, of course, it is only one of the many chateaux you can visit if you buy a property in Loire.
