Moissac is a charming small town at the confluence of the Rivers Tarn and Garonne and the Canal de Garonne. It is a good point to get on the Voie Vert which is the green pathway alongside the river and canal where you can cycle, walk or jog far away from any traffic. For those who fancy more exercise it is also a good point to get onto the Deux Mers cycle route, a route joining The Mediterranean and The Atlantic. This is probably not something to add to a house viewing trip but once you own your house in Tarn et Garonne it might well be a challenge you would wish to take on. For those people looking for a more leisurely visit do not miss the Saint-Pierre Abbey with its atmospheric cloisters.
